Parish Church
The last priest of Úvalno, Josef Vlček, passed away in 1996. The rectory building remained empty. The village came up with the idea to exhibit objects here that remind us of the recent past. Now, the Parish Church serves as a retro museum—with one significant difference compared to other museums: here, you can touch everything. Children can play with their parents’ and grandparents’ toys, and adults can reminisce about visits to their grandparents. The rectory has several rooms that have been transformed into a kitchen or bathroom as we know from our grandmothers. You’ll find a children’s room with toys from the 1950s or even a festive living room. During the season, there is a small retro café here.
